The Ballad of Billy McCrae

I’ve written a film noir.  Why? Because I love that genre of film.  Crime dramas with existential dread at the heart of the stories; thrillers about real people trapped by love or hate or both.

My film is called THE BALLAD OF BILLY McCRAE and it will be showing in select UK cinemas from Friday 24th September.

Ian Virgo and Sianad Gregory play a Welsh couple who fall in love and learn to regret it.

David Hayman plays the father of Sianad’s character; a dark, nasty, shit of a man.  Billy McCrae no less. We all know men like him. Or do we?

Chris Crow directs, with his customary brilliance.

Hope you get a chance to see it – it’s screening in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Birmingham, Greenwich O2 and Port Talbot.
