It’s one day to the official publication date of Red Claw in the UK…it’s a nice, but strange feeling when a book is almost but not quite out.
I wrote a few words about what inspired me to write this book for Sci Fi Now.
And signed copies can be purchased from my local bookstore, The Bookseller Crow on the Hill.
Enjoy!

Thanks Tom – we’re the only ones breathing in a pure atmosphere…
I just picked up Red Claw today purely on the sexy cover alone. The bookseller and I were marveling about the artwork. That it also gets rave reviews for the words inside is pretty convincing. Looking forward to digging into it after I finish Pirate Sun by Karl Schroeder.
Hey Chang, thrilled you like the cover, and hope you enjoy the book.

I have just finished reading REDCLAW (31 10 2009) and found it very thought provoking. New Amazon gives me the creeps and at times I could feel the little buggers crawling all over me! You just have to write a sequel to this and please use the part diary concept. – well done Philip.
Glad I made your flesh itch…No immediate plans for a sequel but I do love those characters and that world…
I have just spent the day reading RedClaw. Rarely have I been unable to stop reading a book. However this just happened, and I want to thank you. New Amazon is an amazing creation that crawls under your skin. So inventive, I loved every page.
