Meet Mr Smith

I’ve had some delightful arrivals through the letterbox this week…yesterday I got a copy of the US reprint version of Debatable Space (exactly the same as the previous version, with a few extra quotes!)  And earlier in the week ace editor Andrew Hook kindly sent me a copy of New Horizons, one of the publications produced by the British Fantasy Society and available free of charge to members. (Well worth it!)

I got my copy gratis however because I have a short story published in the current issue, Issue 3.  It’s Mr Smith, a tale about a lonely old man who works in B & Q who has superpowers.  But his powers are not a gift, they are a curse…It’s not a Heroes or Marvel Comcs type superhero story, it’s more an exploration of what it would be like to be an ordinary down to earth person, who just happens to have the powers of a god…
