I love Neil Gaiman&#039;s novel writing voice so it&#039;s not a bad influence to have...Is it just me, or is AMERICAN GODS in a wholly different voice to all the others?  Still very funny, but without the wisecracking narrator feel.  It&#039;s one of my all time favourite Gaimans.</description>
