Great news for Ariel, the webguy who is the mentor and designer of this site...He's now been hired by Orbit in a senior capacity as a Marketing Executive, in recognition of his book-selling experience and exceptional online expertise.
And, over and above all else, Ariel aka Darren Turpin is a man who knows and loves his science fiction.
It's nice to see the good guys doing so well...

Cheers Phil! Thank you very much indeed for the thumbs-up, and I'm looking forward to the new position immensely.
I should probably point out though that it's not actually all that senior a position... a marketing executive in this sense is someone who actually executes the work, rather than comes up with the grand strategies. So I'll still be getting my hands dirty at the online coal-face and actually churning out online projects for Orbit - and actually, I wouldn't want it any other way!
